We are a strength, conditioning & mobility gym based around expertly coached group training. We know that getting fitter is better, easier to stick to & more effective when done together so our community is at the very heart of what we do.

We cater for all abilities; from people with limited experience but a desire to get fit, to those looking to add a technical & competitive element to their training with CrossFit & Hyrox classes.

Our large space, conveniently located off Clapham High Street, is stocked with top of the range equipment and great changing, showering & communal facilities with free towels & toiletries.

Gymnasium is the only certified B-Corp gym in the UK and recently appeared in Men’s Health as one of the World’s Best Gyms. We are a registered CrossFit affiliate – Gymnasium CrossFit Clapham, and are a registered Hyrox affiliate.

Athletica – mix of cardio, body weight and strength at high-intensity

Stronger – focusses on building fundamental strength with pushes, pulls and squats

Motion – flexibility, joint strength & stability

CrossFit – constantly varied mix of weightlifting, gymnastics & cardio at high-intensity

Run Club – twice weekly mix of distance, track, hills and drills

Open Gym – book a studio slot to perfect a skill, catch up a missed class or do your own workout

🌎 The CrossFit Open is an annual, global 3 week CrossFit competition.

📝 Workouts are released on Thursday night, you complete them in Saturday class and submit your score online by Monday. Signups are now live on the CrossFit website!

🏋️‍♂️ For some The Open is the first stage in qualification for the in-person Crossfit Games. For us, it is about getting together, testing ourselves in a competitive environment and having a great time.

🏆 There is a Worldwide leaderboard which you can filter by age group, country or by Gymnasium!

💪 There are 3 divisions, RX, Scaled and Foundations. Everyone at Gymnasium is able to participate in one of the divisions.

I joined Gymnasium after a friend recommended it to me and boy am I glad I did. Literally the best decision I’ve made for my health and fitness. Great value for money if you go regularly. The coaches are fantastic, I’ve learned so much in such a short space of time. The facilities are great too and it’s refreshing to be part of a gym that everyone looks after and the community spirit here is what breathes life into the place. I love it!

We absolutely loved Gymnasium! It is has been a challenge to find a gym/box that comes close to ours back home in Australia, but Gymnasium made us feel like home. The coaches were brilliant and the other members were so nice and welcoming.The equipment is all in excellent condition and the facilities are top notch. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who is looking for a great gym or CrossFit box.

Gymnasium and crossfit have literally changed my life. I finally found something I love doing and always look forward to. The diversity of the classes and the possibility to also do your own thing in open gym makes it the perfect place to go to.Since I started I've become much stronger, faster, fitter, leaner but also happier in my body!The coaches there are incredibly knowledgeable, help you become better/stronger, but also care about your progression and make sure you exercise safely. They're also friendly and always genuinely make you feel welcome and part of the community which, let's be honest, is not something you find in your normal gym.The community and social aspect are pretty awesome too, I've only joined 8 months ago but feel part of the family and have made some really good friends there.If you want your face on a billboard at Clapham North, make cool friends, get fitter, stronger and happier, this is the place! 🙂
