Our purpose is simple: to build the best gym in the world; a gym that improves our members’ fitness in a place where everyone feels they belong.

We are a strength, conditioning & mobility gym based around expertly coached group training. We know that getting fitter is better, easier to stick to & more effective when done together so our community is at the very heart of what we do.

We cater for all abilities; from people with limited experience but a desire to get fit, to those looking to add a technical & competitive element to their training.

Our large space, conveniently located on Wandsworth High Street, is stocked with top of the range equipment and great changing, showering & communal facilities with free towels & toiletries.

Gymnasium is the only certified B-Corp gym in the UK and recently appeared in Men’s Health as one of the World’s Best Gyms.

We are a registered CrossFit affiliate – Gymnasium CrossFit Southside.

Mix & match to ensure well rounded fitness

Athletica – mix of cardio, body weight and strength at high-intensity

Stronger – focusses on building fundamental strength with pushes, pulls and squats

CrossFit – constantly varied mix of weightlifting, gymnastics & cardio at high-intensity

Olympic – technically complex, compound lifts

Motion – flexibility, joint strength & stability.

We have three types of membership which give access to different classes and each one of those has options for the amount of times you can access the gym a month; 13 times or unlimited and access times; all day or evenings & weekends only.

KIDS OUT GIVING TREE 🎄 🎁

‘Ditch Secret Santa’ and buy toys for children in local refuge homes and other children across the country who are in great need.
-
This year we have decided to do something a bit different for Christmas. This time of year is a special time to spend with family and friends and for most of us a time to give and receive gifts. Not everyone is as lucky as us so wanted to share some of our Christmas cheer with the less fortunate.

Located on the Christmas tree in both Clapham and Wandsworth, you will find tags with the name of a child, their age and a wish for Christmas. If you are interested in helping out please pick a tag from the tree and purchase a gift for the child, this can be anything big or small, it is just about giving a child the opportunity to open a gift on Christmas Day. You will then stick the tag to the unwrapped gift and put back under the Christmas Tree.

The recipients are children who have escaped domestic violence, being forced to flee their homes quickly and leave all possessions behind, as well as children who are living in the highest areas of deprivation in the country and are living with a disability, serious illness or life-limiting conditions.

Due to the Royal Mail strikes the tags have been delayed but in the meantime you can also access the online shop where you could buy toys and it will go directly to Kids out Giving Tree.

There is up to 20 hours of coaching per week available, we offer competitive pay, discounted membership and provide comprehensive training.

Our free Gymnasium Legend program started during the first lockdown and has been going strong ever since. We even got an epic feature in Men’s Health.

We believe that fitness is for everyone and should be accessible to all. But we know first hand, because they are our parents, finding an exercise program that caters for their requirements can be challenging and going in to a gym can be pretty intimidating.

Our program is specifically designed for those of 60 and classes are led by a coach over Zoom three times a week. Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 10am. Movements are scaled for all abilities and the classes are full of likeminded folks. many of whom hand around afterwards for a chat with each other! It means members to exercise at home; in a safe and familiar environment.

We would love you to invite your parents, grandparents and anyone else you know over 60 to join the community!

INTRODUCTION CLASS
We are going to be launching new introduction sessions only for new Legends joiners. The first one will run on Tuesday 25th October at 10am. In the session we’ll run through everything you need to know about the classes, answer any questions and get to know coach and other new joiners.

What's the difference between Open Gym and Open Gym Skills? 🤷

Open Gym Skills is for members to work on specific skills such as getting your first Pull Up, rehab movments or catching up on a missed Stronger session. This is not to be used to try lifting for the first time, any high skill movements, or doing a workout. If you are interested, we have specific Gymnastic focused programmes you can work on, just ask a coach! This is bookable on all memberships.

Open Gym is for our Plus members only to refine Gymnastic or Weightlifting movements, as well as catching up on any Crossfit sessions.

There's always a coach around so if you need some help feel free to ask.
