Gymnasium Home | Live

Due to CV19 we are offering series of free body weight exercises you can do at home by grabbing our Home Workout Cards below, or by joining a coach and class on video conference. No equipment is required and all movements can be scaled.

Our three class types are based on the core programming we run in our physical gym.

  • Live | Athletica is a bodyweight HIIT class
  • Live | Stronger is a bodyweight strength class
  • Live | Recover is a bodyweight joint mobility, strength & stability class
  • Live | Legends is a bodyweight class for those over 60

Free classes will be streamed live twice a day, or twice a week for Legends, check out the timetable below where you can also grab the Zoom details. Videos will be uploaded to our YouTube channel, shortly after so you can follow along with the coaches at your leisure. You can also access the playlists below.

The Format is a short warm up, then each movement will be demonstrated, along the associated reps scheme and timings. Then the session starts and the coach will remind you of the movements, scaling options, the timing and the reps required throughout the workout.

We always finish with a single clap and then a quick chat and catch up to keep our community strong.

Classes are held on Zoom and are free for anyone to join.

Please join a couple of minutes before class starts. Participant video & microphones will be automatically turned off when you join but we would encourage you to turn on video and click gallery view to see everyone else – watching 30 class members workout on screen with you is mighty motivating!


We are really excited to announce our Free Legends Live workouts! Specifically designed for those over 60, these classes are led by a coach over Zoom video conference twice a week. 

As everyone is being encouraged to take greater precautions but keep healthy, we want to do our bit to provide a way to keep those who are slightly older, active. This class is for the 60+ community who are looking to stay fit and healthy, from the comfort of their own homes, and has been adapted from our successful in-gym Legends programme. 


No equipment is required, and a coach is there to guide every aspect of the session.


The classes will be streamed live at 10am GMT on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

“My son has been saying “You should do CrossFit, it’s amazing!”, for a few years now. 70 year old jaundiced Dad me, who’s not a gym person, has politely ignored the advice, despite being impressed by the concept and James’ fitness. (I’ve joined gyms in the past and know that it’s not my thing). Lockdown and the offer of the Gymnasium Legends Zoom sessions – a CrossFit coaching session for my age group and in the comfort (privacy?) my own home – gave me the chance to try it out.

I’m on my third week of Tuesday and Thursday sessions now and I’m loving it! I go to a spare room just before 10am, log on to Zoom and up pops Tyla the coach – and about 20 other Legends (over 60’s). Tyla takes us through a warm up, strength session and a workout before a short end of session stretch. It’s all done in 45 minutes and I feel brilliant. I definitely know I’ve done a workout – some days I’ve had to go down stairs one at a time – but its always at your own pace and with easy options.

It is such an easy thing to attend, takes a short amount of time, needs no special equipment and it leaves me feeling fitter and purposeful. I just wish it were 3 times a week rather than 2 because I enjoy it so much and am now really keen to build on the benefits. It’s free, but I would be happy to pay and for the first time in my life, I can see the “gym” becoming a very regular element of my week.” Nigel


“I join the Legends Tuesday session.  The trainer adapts the workout to your own home space with enthusiasm and demonstrates each exercise and offers easier option to follow at our own level.  The 10 minute circuit is demanding but we all work at our own pace and it’s a great feeling as the clock counts down. To join the workout, simply click on this Zoom link, just before the class starts. No software is needed, it will work on a laptop, tablet or mobile phone and the link will be the same every class.
