Most people think run clubs are about pace.

They're usually about people.

At Gymnasium Kennington, Run Club is built around movement, community, progression, and consistency.

Some people come to improve their 5km time. Some are training for HYROX, a half marathon or their first race. Others just want a reason to get outside, move with other people and start building healthier routines.

All are welcome.

Weekly Coached Run Sessions

Structured sessions designed to improve running fitness, pacing, endurance, confidence, and race performance.

Sessions may include intervals, threshold work, tempo efforts, aerobic conditioning, running drills, and pacing work.

Everything is coached and scalable.

Whether you're brand new to running or already racing regularly, the goal is simple: Help you run better, feel stronger and enjoy the process more.

Run The City

Once a month we host social city runs across London.

Less stopwatch. More atmosphere.

Think relaxed group runs, different routes and neighbourhoods, coffee stops, post-run drinks, meeting new people, and moving together.

Because not every run needs to feel like race prep. Sometimes the best part is simply turning up.

5km Time Trials & External Events

We also organise regular 5km benchmark runs, groups doing external races, HYROX preparation events, and half marathon and marathon support.

Having events in the calendar changes training.

It creates momentum, structure, accountability, and consistency.

You stop "trying to get fitter" and start building towards something.

Built Around Real Life

You do not need to be fast, experienced, "a runner," or training for an ultra-marathon.

You just need to show up.
